Tooth Fairy is going broke here! (and broken bones)

If we had to pick 1 word to sum up our last few weeks, we'd have to say "teeth". Both boys have been losing teeth, and Tim is looking like a regular old jack-o-lantern these days! Within a week's period of time, he lost both his top front teeth. A few weeks prior, he lost 2 teeth on the bottom. Matthew has lost his bottom 2 front teeth. Ironically, Katelyn has GROWN her bottom 2 center teeth! Here are some photos:

After the 1st top front tooth came out, the 2nd one was SO loose. It just hung by a thread. We worked and worked at pulling and twisting. Tim really wanted it to come out while at school, so he could put it in a special envelope the nurse has for children who lose teeth at school. However, it came out in the middle of the night, and we were just thankful he didn't swallow it!

Here is Matthew with his 2 missing bottom teeth!

The other big happening around here is that Matthew broke his right arm! He was playing outside in the back yard and tripped, falling onto a big rock. He has adjusted to his cast fairly well, and was excited to pick a Glow-in-the-dark cast!! Thankfully he should only have it on for about 4 weeks - - off well before swimming time starts! He also will only miss the first 2 games of t-ball, though he'll have a lot of catching up to do since he'll have the cast for all the practices.

This photo was taken prior to all the signings! Matthew very specifically wanted his family to sign his cast in blue, and his Pre-K classmates and teachers to sign in red. If there is still room on his little arm, his t-ball teammates will sign in green!

On Friday, Jason celebrated his 34th birthday. However, with all the dr's appts and x-rays, as well as the appointment to cast Matt's arm, we weren't able to celebrate until Saturday. The boys enjoyed picking out presents for Daddy, and helping me make his birthday cake.
